Join us on Zoom for 'Digging Deeper with Frankie on Tuesday, Novemeber 5th, 7:00-8:30 PM.
In this class, Frankie will lead a virtual tour of Herodium, one of King Herod’s largest palaces and his mausoleum. We'll explore its architectural features and remains from four periods: Herod’s palace, the Jewish rebels during the Roman War, the Bar Kokhba Revolt, and the Byzantine period with its three churches. We’ll also read firsthand accounts of Herod’s funeral from historian Josephus.
Each class is a standalone topic, so newcomers are always welcome!
